Ready to take your training and education initiatives to the next level?
I’m a fully remote Instructional Designer, eLearning Consultant and Trainer with a secure, dependable virtual office, extensive tech skills and over 25 years’ experience collaborating in today’s team-driven, virtual and hybrid environment. I was a home-based business and marketing strategy consultant (Sage Enterprises, LLC) before remote became a “thing”! I’m motivated by designing trainings that demonstrate a clear learning journey with measurable results. I’m efficient, productive, self-driven, and because of my breadth of experience, I can jump into any learning environment and hit the ground running in hours, not weeks. I’ve led my own teams, cross-functional teams and agencies.
That’s what I ask right after I get to know someone a bit. Having a service mindset is one of my driving philosophies. It allows me to quickly connect with colleagues and audiences. If you’re like most companies looking for a professional to add to your learning team, I can help. I support teams with end-to-end training solutions, driven by today’s most advanced digital learning tools, to create high-energy, high-engagement programs. I’m proud to be one of a small group of people certified in Accelerated Learning technologies that allow people to learn more, faster, and retain it.

Tami has used educational, marketing and business technology tools for the multimedia design and production of videos, adaptive e-learning, instructor and learner materials, and educational games.
My background in Training & Development, coupled with my experience as a Marketing Executive, gives me a holistic perspective when creating value-added programs that deliver bottom-line results.
I’m one of a small group of people certified in Accelerated Learning technologies that allow people to learn more, faster and with extremely high retention rates.
My learning and development experience is grounded in traditional and contemporary adult learning instructional design theories, methodologies and best practices, including the ADDIE model and custom blended learning solutions.
I’ve successfully designed and managed large-scale education and training programs, resulting in the delivery of high-quality projects that are timely and cost-effective.
I’m a much sought-after speaker. I’ve led workshops, panel discussions and strategic planning sessions, and delivered keynotes and trainings to audiences as large as 30,000 people at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. I’ve been leading virtual trainings for nearly 20 years.
An overall assessment of the organization and its learning needs (from individual, departmental and company standpoints), developing learning personas, content recommendations, delivery methods, resource requirements and measurement frameworks.
Working in state-of-the-art interactive development environments, I create unique learning solutions that drive results. I research, develop and design training decks, storyboards and learning assets with an eye toward maximizing UI/UX with today’s top-tier graphics tools. This includes eLearning solutions that offer learners comprehensive, interactive and dynamic experiences built around SCORM-compliant resources.
I create Multi-Year Training and Exercise Plans (MYTEPs) that establish overall program priorities and outline a multi-year schedule of training and activities designed to address those priorities with increasing complexity over three to five years. Each plan is reviewed annually to ensure it meets established KPIs.
If your organization has a small learning and development team or a limited budget, a train-the-trainer program could be an important part of your talent development solution. I develop, deliver and ensure a train-the-trainer framework that turns employees into subject matter experts who can then teach other members of your organization.
I can adapt and deploy learning content to global, multi-language regions and manage the vendors who provide design and translation services.
Converting legacy content is rarely a purely technical process. I can help you review and select legacy content from both conceptual (rewriting and restructuring content) and planning perspectives for the conversion itself.
I rely on analytics and best-in-class LMSs to build and optimize learning processes (and the people who run them) to ensure content development is completed and deployed in a way that optimizes efficiency, quality and usage.
The first diversity training I led was nearly 15 years ago, well before global protests raised awareness of inequities in all aspects of our lives. I can support your DE&I initiatives by advising on and recommending scalable training content through an on-demand platform that includes case studies, videos, stories and other innovative approaches that meet today’s challenging HR environment.
I oversee the end-to-end content lifecycle (strategy, ideation, production, distribution and measurement). This includes conducting audits and assessments to identify required net-new content and content that needs to be retired or refreshed to meet agreed-upon learning strategies.
Problem: The organization consistently missed revenue goals and “reached with training” KPIs.
Solution: Collaborated with the Marketing Science team to develop an all-new, customer-centric training approach that begins with categorizing, defining, capturing and organizing customer needs (internal and external) in one document, so that all communications across the company are consistent in messaging and training approach. Used it to develop the training and education content arc for the company’s largest global event, which reaches 100,000 participants across in-person, on-platform and virtual programming.
Problem: A community hospital had a 60%+ turnover rate among new hires in their first 90 days. Unfortunately, the hospital was already short-staffed, particularly with their nursing staff.
Solution:
Problem: A New York City hospital system serving 2.6 million residents was in danger of being taken over by the State because of its low HCAHPS scores, poor quality of care, excessive incident reports and questionable healthcare practices in the emergency room. Insurance reimbursements were in jeopardy, and long wait times were often highlighted in major news media. Language, cultural and religious differences led to frequent verbal and physical conflicts in front of patients.
Solution: Conducted a 60-day needs analysis that resulted in a comprehensive, 21-day training program centered on internal and external customer service with a sports/teamwork theme. Developed a blended learning, game-based curriculum for inclusive staff training, from executives to sanitation workers. The program included leadership development, executive coaching, soft skills and team building. It led to a 50% increase in Emergency Department HCAHPS scores, and its success led to repeating the training at its 126-year-old sister hospital.
Helped a national association increase the value of its membership by creating a multi-year leadership development program. Interviewed the association’s CEO, board members, senior management team, regional directors and members to design, develop and deliver a five-year professional development training program that earned accreditation from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
